The high firing temperature makes Aura Que's stoneware ceramics dishwasher and microwave safe, and reassuringly chip resistant. Please note that slight variations are part of the appeal of their stoneware, so these pieces are not appropriate for those seeking production line uniformity. The richly coloured glazes used for their stoneware are sourced from North India.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese AURA QUE stoneware ceramics are handmade near Bhaktapur, Nepal by a family business run by two brothers, Santa and Laxmi. The production is organised by a World Fair Trade Organization certified collective in Kathmandu. AURA QUE started working with the group in 2018.
